He gave a power point presentation about hypertension in today's cme programme. He said that hypertension is now a common problem. He gave details of what is hypertension and rational drug therapy. There are many causes for hypertension ,if we do regular exercise, having good health habits and mental peace we can avoid hypertension. Studies reveal that people who are more than 60 years of age have hypertension 150/90 mmHg and below 60 years of age have 140/90 mmHg. He described about the drug therapy for hypertension. He gave answers to the clarifications raised. Now a days diabetes is also a common problem and if we take precautions we can avoid it also.
