He has updated with most of the current advanced technologies in the field of cancer surgeries. His special interest is in treatment of gastrointestinal and hepato-pancreato-biliary cancers (cancer of pancreas, liver, bile-ducts and gallbladder). Major gastric resections, liver resections, radiofrequency ablation for liver tumors, pancreatic resections, colonic (intestine) resections and sphincter saving surgeries for low rectal cancers are being performed regularly by him. Breast cancer surgeries, utero-ovarian cancer surgeries and chemotherapy port placements are a routine part of his practice as well.
